My feelings listening to this song have totally changed since I first heard it.
When I first got into her music I was in a bad non-relationship, and I wound up listening to this song a lot once I ended up heartbroken. Back then it sounded purely sad, yearning for something that absolutely was not going to work.
Like when you just need to scream about how much you love someone even if the whole situation is doomed. It was right at the top of my sad playlist. When I listened to this album again recently, the song seemed to have a totally different tone.
Now it sounds almost Makes me realize how much I filter her songs through my own perspective. I'm in a long-distance relationship and hearing this song just makes me cry, no matter how much i love him i feel its doomed.
I feel out of hope and i fear that i'm starting to see our love slowly fade away, and that's what hurts the most, a slow death and one you really can't do much about. Found the internet!
